Our Gym

CrossFit Haapu is not your normal gym. We encourage everyone… busy professionals, the mums, our older population and athletes to develop personalised levels of fitness. We do this through constantly varied functional movements, fundamental strength and conditioning programs that are designed to create the best version of yourself.

The community aspect of CrossFit Haapu is our greatest strength. At CF Haapu we are supportive, positive and eager for you to learn… not just how to become fitter and stronger but better humans. Come in and make it the best hour of your day… We are an extended family!

Renee Hoffman

“I have always had a passion for helping people, understanding what motivates and drives them.  I want someone to feel comfortable in their own skin every time they walk through the doors of CF Haapu.  The greatest reward is watching people excel and be rewarded for their commitment to a goal.  Regardless of who you are: a busy parent, a business professional or an athlete looking to be at the top of their game.  It’s about building someone’s confidence and creating self-efficacy, so they have the belief that effort and hard work do matter… Nothing comes easy but to see the smiles when success arrives is what drives me”

Asier - Hybrid Performance Coach

My life has always been linked to exercise and movement since I was a child. I played multiple sports in my childhood and I have been coaching people for over 9 years now. My background is in Sport Science, field in which I studied a Bachelor and two Masters Degrees. After trying Crossfit for the first time in January 2016 I started to get curious about hybrid and concurrent training. I immediately fell in love with it, so I started coaching it in early 2017.

In 2018 I moved to Australia, where I’ve continued to coach Crossfit and other sports. Over these 6 years I’ve coached at different gyms, and I am currently sharing my time between coaching in person and my online coaching business “Move with Asier”

My favourite things about coaching are to witness my athletes work toward their goals and the transformations, both physical and mental, that are generated by that effort. I truly believe that as coaches we have an opportunity to help people reach their potential of a healthier, happier life and I am committed to help people work towards that goal.

Mel Volker

I have been working in the fitness industry for over 7 years and as a CrossFit Coach for almost 3 years. What I most love about coaching is that I can be there for someone and get to see their progression and improvement. The best feeling in the world is when I’m able to help someone achieve their goals whether that be a 100kg squat or just start moving
